InternetCT & High Performance Hardware?

Postby gamer_T » Mon Jun 07, 2010 2:01 am

Hi guys,

I'm new around here so hello!

I mainly use InternetCT for some componets like cables and connectors, as you guys are literally a 30 second walk away from my house. However, I notice that InternetCT don't exactly cater high performance hardware. I'm just wondering why this is, is it not your target market? Is there to much competition with another computer hardware company? (I wont mention the name as it may break a rule regarding competitors, but I'm sure you know which one I'm on about and no it obviously isn't PC World!)

I notice there isn't any stock of GTX 480 Series, or 5870 series GPU's. Same goes for the lack of really high end CPU's, motherboards and PSU's.

I may not be looking right, but also under the HDD section I don't see any brand names on the HDD's and this has put me right off buying one before as we know that an unbranded HDD doesn't get the best reputation, and in most cases they lack build quality.

Can we expect any high performance hardware (even gaming hardware) within the future?

Cheers!

Hi, couple of issues I can help with.
We tend to try and sell fast moving products and so high end graphics cards are not at the right price for us at the moment but "watch this space" as we are getting more cards at the £100+ mark.

As for high end power supplies, we only stock ThermalTake and mainly Coolermaster up to and including the 1100W, not sure how big you were looking for.
Last point was your reference to the hard disk drives, we do not mention the name of the manufacturer as the change depending on supply but we never ever stock anything but major brand like Seagate, Maxtor, Wester Digital, IBM/Hitachi etc.
Once again welcome to our forum and we are trying to launch a general space for all sorts not just computers so if your friend wish to use it for whatever topic feel free.
